Commercial service

Ice production depends on refrigeration, water, airflow and cleanliness.

A commercial ice machine can lose output well before it stops completely. Scale, restricted airflow, dirty condensers, poor drainage and changing water conditions increase cycle times and reduce reliable production.

Beer Works checks the equipment as a complete operating system and records faults that affect output, hygiene, energy use or breakdown risk.

Service scope

  • Refrigeration and operating-condition checks
  • Condenser, filters and ventilation assessment
  • Water supply, filtration and visible scale condition
  • Harvest, fill, freeze-cycle and control checks
  • Drainage, leaks and bin-condition inspection
  • Electrical condition and fault-code review
  • Repair and replacement recommendations

Food-contact cleaning and sanitising requirements must follow the equipment manufacturer and the venue's hygiene procedures. We clarify the technical service scope before attendance.

Faults and operating risks

Reduced output usually has a cause that can be measured.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about commercial ice machine maintenance

How often should a commercial ice machine be serviced?

Frequency depends on manufacturer requirements, water quality, airborne grease or dust, operating hours and venue hygiene controls. High-use hospitality equipment may require more frequent attention than a lightly used machine.

Can servicing restore low ice production?

It can when output is being reduced by maintainable conditions such as heat-rejection, airflow, scale, water or control issues. Refrigeration or component faults may require separate repair.

Do you repair commercial ice machines?

Yes. Beer Works can diagnose commercial refrigeration and control faults and quote required repairs or replacement where appropriate.

Can you service an ice machine before summer?

Yes. Pre-summer service is sensible where the venue depends on the machine during peak heat and trading periods.
