What areas does Beer Works service?

Beer Works services commercial venues across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Logan, Ipswich and Moreton Bay. For projects outside these areas, contact us with the site location and scope.

Does Beer Works work on residential systems?

No. Beer Works is focused on commercial beer, glycol and hospitality systems for pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants, breweries, stadiums, event venues and other commercial facilities.

What commercial beer-system services do you provide?

We design and install commercial beer systems, service glycol chillers and circulation systems, diagnose breakdowns, clean beer lines, maintain taps and fonts, and support mobile bars and hospitality refrigeration.

Can you diagnose faults involving more than one trade?

Yes. Beer Works is operated by HVACR Pty Ltd, which also owns ACRO Refrigeration, Shelair and Koolacube. This provides coordinated beer-system, refrigeration, HVAC and electrical capability where a fault crosses trade boundaries.

When should a venue call for urgent service?

Call when the venue cannot maintain product temperature, multiple taps have stopped, the glycol system has failed, equipment is repeatedly alarming, or the fault is causing substantial product loss or preventing trade.

Do you design and install complete new beer systems?

Yes. We can coordinate keg-room requirements, product lines, beer python, glycol cooling, gas, fonts, taps, controls, commissioning and handover as one commercial system.

Can Beer Works work with builders and fit-out contractors?

Yes. Early involvement allows beer, glycol, refrigeration, electrical, drainage and bar penetrations to be coordinated before ceilings, walls and joinery restrict access.

What information should I provide when requesting a quote?

Provide the venue name and address, site contact, required completion date, tap and product numbers, plans where available, equipment details, photographs and a clear description of the required outcome.

How often should commercial beer lines be cleaned?

The interval should follow brewery requirements, chemical instructions and the venue’s risk profile. Product type, turnover, line design and operating conditions all matter. Many venues use weekly or fortnightly cycles, but the correct schedule must be set for the actual system.

What commonly causes foaming draught beer?

Common causes include unstable product temperature, incorrect gas pressure, poor system balance, dirty lines, worn tap components, warm glassware and product disturbance. Diagnosis should measure the system rather than rely on repeated regulator adjustment.

Why does beer pour cold at first and then become warm?

A system may lose capacity under sustained demand because of inadequate refrigeration duty, dirty condensers, poor airflow, weak glycol circulation, damaged insulation or an increasing heat load. The pattern and affected taps help isolate the cause.

What does a glycol system do?

A glycol system circulates chilled fluid through the beer python and other cooling equipment to control product temperature between the keg room and tap. The chiller, pump, fluid, insulation and hydraulic circuit must operate together.

Do commercial beer systems need planned maintenance?

Yes. Planned maintenance can identify declining cooling capacity, pump wear, leaks, insulation damage, dirty condensers and worn dispensing components before they create an urgent breakdown or continuing product wastage.

Do you service commercial ice makers?

Yes. Beer Works supplies, installs, services and repairs commercial ice makers used by hospitality venues. Maintenance should address hygiene, water systems, condenser condition, controls and production performance.

Do you sell or hire mobile bars?

Beer Works provides commercial mobile-bar sales and hire. The correct setup depends on event volume, products, keg location, cooling duty, gas, power, drainage, access and setup time.

What licences support Beer Works?

Beer Works operates within HVACR Pty Ltd. Group credentials displayed on the website include ARCtick AU61340, QBCC 15413155, Queensland Electrical Contractor 92536.

Is Beer Works veteran-owned?

Yes. Beer Works identifies as a veteran-owned and Certified Veteran-Owned Business operating within the HVACR Pty Ltd group.
